Maine lighthouses open Saturday, Sept 14

It's a once a year opportunity in Maine!  This Saturday over 20 lighthouses along Maine's rocky coastline are open for visitors. It is your chance to get inside, see the workings of some of the nation's oldest and best lights and hear some exciting stories of the role of lighthouses and life as a "keeper".

Here along the midcoast of Maine, you can tour Owl's Head light, Marshall Point light, Pemaquid Point, Rockland Breakwater, Curtis Island and Grindle Point ... all within one hour of the Inn!  A full list of all open lighthouses and events at  Lighthouse Saturday in Maine with details of hours and things to do.

This special lighthouse event is fast becoming one of the most popular fall weekends especially as the fall foiliage begins to really show the reds and golds, the apple orchards are open and the wineries long the way all are open for tastings!  It all adds up to a day you don't want to miss!  We still have rooms available, will help you plan your tours and have a drawing for a signed copy of a Maine lighthouse book. Call us now for complete details!
